DUSTING TIPS
Dusting in HIGH Places -- Wrap a towel or cloth around a Golf Club or a Hockey Stick, securing it with a rubber band. Now you can dust door tops, frame tops, shelf tops, or wall molding.
Lint-Free Dusting! -- Dust with used fabric-softener sheets and furniture will be clean and lint-free -- and smell good too!

Dusting Tips -- Wear an old pair of cotton gloves or socks on your hands. Polish with one hand and buff with the other. Dust with discarded shoulder pads. They're soft, they fit comfortably in your palm, and they're washable.
To dust shelves and insides of drawers without having to empty them, cover your vacuum hose opening with a piece of cheesecloth or old pantyhose pulled taut, and secure it in place with a rubber band. Now you are ready!
Make your own Dust Cloths -- Dip cheesecloth squares in a mixture of ½ cup lemon oil and 1 pint hot water. Squeeze out excess moisture and dry thoroughly. Store cloths in clean coffee cans with secure lids.
Venetian Blind Cleaning -- Wear cotton gloves or socks on your hands to dust the slates. Try running a dryer fabric sheet over the slats; they should stay cleaner longer because the sheets help repel dust. If you have a stain on them, use white liquid shoe polish to cover it up.
To Clean a Dust Mop Head -- Put it in a plastic or paper bag, scrunch up the neck of the bag and hold it tight, then shake, shake, shake. It will be dust free when you take it out.
Efficient Lighting -- DUSTY bulbs can reduce the efficiency of your lighting fixtures by as much as 75%! So remember to DUST them off.
